We had an old blueprint of a tugboat on our front porch that has slowly faded over time and exposure to the sun.  I decided to make a family tree over the fade to reuse the frame and even the paper of the blueprint.  I also wanted our family tree to be the first thing guests see when they come to our house.  

A couple months ago, I happily added the name of our new niece, Solveig.  Welcome to our tree, Solveig Maja!
